On behalf of the Board of Drectors, I would like to welcome back our returning curlers and extend a warm welcome to all our new curlers joining our club this year.
As I step into my second term as Club President, I am incredibly proud of our club community and even more excited for what lies ahead.
As we look ahead, your Board of Directors remains completely focussed on the future and long term viability of our club. With our current priority centered on the facility itself, we are proud of the work being done with our capital funds to make repairs and upgrades to the club both inside and out.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our exceptional club team who keep things running seamlessly. Mike and his ice crew, Lori and her bar staff and Mike with his staff in our restaurant kitchen.
An outstanding club is built by the passon of the members and volunteers. We are always looking for volunteers to serve on our board or assist with putting on various events. At times, we can also use volunteers to assist with other tasks around the facility. Please feel free to reach out to me or any of our other board members for more information on how to become a bigger part of your club.
Thanks to all for making the Friendly Fort such a vibrant place to be. Have fun competing at whatever level you happen to be at and enjoy our club and the season ahead.
